1. Dive The Great Barrier Reef

Exploring the mystical wonders of the Great Barrier Reef can only truly be done with diving equipment! Dive into the world of Sea turtles, goldfishes, reefsharks and many more spectacular creatures. The reef is actually the biggest structure made by living organisms in the world! It’s also one of the “Seven Natural Wonders of The World”. Put on a mask and jump in with the rest of us. This magical place cannot be missed!

2. Self Drive Fraser Island with a 4-wheeler!

On the southern coast of Queensland, we find the world’s biggest sand island, Fraser Island. The Island is a backpacker paradise! Rent a car, rob a bottle shops and fill up the jeep with backpacker friends. Drive around the island on the sandy beaches and visit amazing oasis and old ship ruins, stranded on the beach.

3. Drive The Great Ocean Road

South West of Melbourne you find Australia’s most popular road; The Great Ocean Road. The road follows the south-west coast of Victoria and was built as a War memorial after World War 1. The drive gives you an incredible view of the ocean with stunning rock formations, formed by water over millions of years. Most famous are the twelve apostles, a series of stone formations formed like obelisks.

4. Experience Ayers rock

Ayers rock is also known by its aboriginal name: Uluru. Ayers rock is a mountain formation in the middle of nowhere that is known for its unique color. Uluru is made of sandstone and has a magnificent Red color that gives a mesmerizing view. If you are of the sporty type, you can also hike up the back of the mountain.

5. Tasmania – A Hikers paradise.

Tasmania is an Island located south of Australia. The Island, that also is a state, is rich of nature and is therefore promoted as the Natural state. The Island is a wonderful place for canoeing, climbing or just pure hiking. But beware, Tasmania is also home of the fierce Tasmanian devil, also known as Taz! The animal isn’t much bigger then a puppy, but has the temper of a grizzly.
